Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo Bussia 2011 Piedmont

The famous Bussia vineyard in Monforte d'Alba was expanded in 2010 to great controversty, but Claudio Fenocchio's wine is made from the plot his father Giacomo purchased the heart of this cru. It is a wine of muscular intensity - particularly in the warm 2011 vintage - powerful and ripe, ideal for a shoulder of lamb spiked with anchovy, garlic and rosemary.
