Giacomo Fenocchio Castellero 2017 Monforte d'Alba Barolo

From an unusually sandy vineyard nestled between Bussia and Cannubi, this was the first year that Fenocchio bottled this as a single vineyard. Given a long, old school maturation of three years in Slavonian oak, this is an exemplary Barolo which has just entered its ideal drinking window.
