Schlenkerla Rauchbier Marzen 5.1% 500ml Bamberg

Schlenkerla is Located in Bamberg and has been brewing smoked beer since the 1400s. The original smoked marzen, this is entirley smoky but pure. Not quite as heavy as you might think, this has notes of embers and a slightly sweet, bitter fnish reminiscent of high quality dark chocolate. It would go brilliantly with smoked cheese or anything done over coals on a barbeque. We agree with Schlenkerla when they say; "Even if the brew tastes somewhat strange at the first swallow, do not stop, because soon you will realize that your thirst will not decrease and your pleasure will visibly increase."
