Molettieri Taurasi Cinque Querce 2013 Campania

Salvatore's first vintage was 1988, and since then his estate has converted to biodynamics. He is now producing some of the best Taurasi in the region at very fair prices compared to some neighbours. This is his top wine from the Montemarano subzone and it shows great concentration and complexity, with flavours of cigar tobacco, balsam and leather. Big but balanced, this needs some robust, authentically rustic cucina Italiana.
