Ramonet Bouzeron Aligote 2017
Arriving in Chassagne-Montrachet in the late 1920s, Pierre Ramonet gambled successfully on buying up hallowed plots of land around the hill of Montrachet.
Bouzeron is a special terroir and curious appellation for whites made from the lesser-spotted aligote grape within the Cote Chalonnaise region of Burgundy, only 5km from the Ramonet home turf of Chassagne Montrachet. Silky and racy by equal measure with vanilla and sweet spice on the palate, this honours aligote's ancestral home.
