Chateau Pedesclaux 2005 Pauillac

A classed growth that has often flown under the radar, Pedesclaux is beginning to establish an enviable reputation for serious, age-worthy Pauillac at sensible prices. 2005 was an outstanding vintage with meaty tannins and mature notes of cigar box, underbrush, beef fat and dried blackcurrant coming through. Fine, firm and very grown up, this is just perfect with roast salt-marsh lamb.
