Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Blanc 2016 Burgundy
This iconic estate is very rarely seen outside the world's best restaurants thanks to the tiny quantities made. Old vines, small yields and winemaking support from Meursault's godfather, Coche Dury, gives the wines from the estate a true terroir signature.
These are classic, soil-driven and racy wines unencumbered by excessive new oak or battonage with the Bourgogne Blanc seeing less than 25% new oak. It is produced from vines in the village of Meursault, and could easily be mistaken for a Meursault itself thanks to the broad texture and hints of lime, nuts and honey.
