Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Blanc Murgey de Limozin 2018
This iconic estate is very rarely seen outside the world's best restaurants thanks to the tiny quantities made. Old vines, small yields and winemaking support from Meursault's godfather, Coche Dury, gives the wines from the estate a true terroir signature.
These are classic, soil-driven and racy wines unencumbered by excessive new oak or battonage. This spends 18 months in barrel, with only 10% new oak.
This exceptional white Burgundy hails from a plot of 50 year old vines named Murgey de Limozin within the Meursault lieu-dit of Le Limozin, but is declassified to humble Bourgogne Blanc. Fresh aromas of orange oil, wheat, toast, pear and white flowers.
