Vega Sicilia Alion 2018 Ribera del Duero

Established in 1985 by the älvarez family, Bodega Alion, unlike Vega Sicilia, we find a merging of traditional and modern winemaking techniques, and Ali—n is made using state-of-the-art equipment. After fermenation with indigenous yeasts, 10% of the wine is aged in concrete. Ali—n comes from a careful selection of terroirs dotted across the very best areas of the Ribera del Duero DO. These complementary soils, along with the same winemaking process as Vega Sicilia, have given rise to generously structured wines. 2018 was the first vintage to use Ali—nÕs new winemaking facility, designed to give greater precision during extraction.
