Scarpa Vermouth di Torino Rosso 18% Piedmont

One of the most complex and delicious red vermouths we have ever tried, although with 150 herbs and spices going into the recipe, that is hardly a surprise. Unlike many cheap red vermouths this is not heavily flavoured with synthetic vanilla, and it is also based on premium Moscato d'Asti DOCG wine, so the final product has great complexity and a natural sweetness balanced by notes of rhubarb, Angostura bitters and Seville orange from the botanicals. Serve it on the rocks as a light aperivo or digestivo, or get cracking with it in classic cocktails like the Manhattan or Boulevardier.
