Sister's Wine Kisi 2019 Khaketi
Almost extinct by 2000, the kisi grape is lighter and ripens earlier than the more widely planted rkatsiteli and is indigenous to the Khaketi region. This is made with seven months' fermentation and ageing in qvevri, but in a light, bright style. Apricot and sultana on the nose, and gentle grip and pithiness on the palate. A nice introduction to the historical style of Georgian wine.
