Archil Guniava Otskhanuri Sapere 2019 Imereti

A hugely distinctive Georgian grape from westerly Imerti, otskhanuri sapere is saturated with an inky purple colour and distinct wild black cherry notes alongside a lightly floral quality to the nose that reminds us of rose petal. Clean and less tannic than most Georgian reds, this is sapid and tangy - a Georgian beaujolais, if you like.
