Segla de Rauzan Segla 2018 Margaux

The second wine of Chateau Rauzan Segla, Segla is a consistently brilliant effort, made by the same winemaking team as the top wine. With 54% cabernet sauvignon complemented by merlot and 2% petit verdot, aged in one quarter new oak, this is a sumptuously proportioned with polished, ripe blackcurrant fruit, a touch of cassis, violet and sweet, toasty oak and espresso through the palate to the finish. One of the very finest second wines in all of Bordeaux, we have no hesitation in recommending this.
