Adjacent to the legendary Poggio di Sotto and under the same ownership, this estate is already showing a huge improvement in quality thanks to Luca Moroni's guiding hand as the enologist. From 2016, the estate is working organically and barriques have been ditched in favour of large 30,000l Slavonian botti. Here we have a quintessential Brunello fromÊthe southern part of the DOCG in this great vintage, giving rich, savoury flavours of dried red plum, dusty red cherry, liquorice, black olive tapenade and scrubby Mediterranean herbs with plenty to chew on.
