Casa Ferreirinha Castas Escondidas Tinto 2018 Douro

Castas Escondidas means 'hidden varieties'. This is an exciting red blend of some of the lesser-known grape varieties of the Douro valley such as bastardo, marufo tinto, touriga femea and tinta francisca along with 18% fruit from old, field-blend plots. The result is an intense, saturated red with violet, earl grey tea and vibrant black fruit structured by fine acidity and succulent tannins.
