California isn't exactly known for its value but this drinks like a top Crozes Hermitage at twice the price with plump, juicy blackberry and blueberry fruit and a twist of black pepper. Rich and mouthfilling, this is a delicious expression of cooler climate syrah from the Santa Barbera hills.
