Based in Barolo's most northerly village, Verduno, Fratelli Alessandria have a cult following for their racy, aerial wines that slowly reveal a hidden power as they open up with air. With nutmeg-spiked red fruits and a mouthwateringly transparent palate, this is a triumph from the warm, dry 2017 vintage.
