Gaston et Pierre Ravaut Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvee 2017

A ravishingly pretty red Burgundy from the fine and filigree 2017 vintage, this is full of tangy red fruit - redcurrant, cranberry and raspberry - with a thread of delicate tannin running through the palate that makes this refreshing and moreish. It's one of those wines that will vanish before you know it, and although it doesn't need food, it would be beautiful with some duck breast or a rare bavette.
