Weinbach Gentil 2019 Alsace
The confidential blend of seven Alsatian grapes normally seen exclusively in restaurants around Alsace is one of our favourite finds. Pinot gris provides a broad smokey base to layers of spicy, floral aromatics from gewurztraminer and muscat all brought into focus by riesling. Layered, complex, and extremely gastronomic its sweetness brings out exotic aromatics and it has enough richness to stand up to spicy food. Great for steamed fish or stir fried lobster, crab or prawns.
