Valpiculata Puertas Novas Seleccion 2016 Toro

Deep in Zamora Province near Spain's border with Portugal lies the Valpiculata estate, where vines have been grown for upwards of 200 years. The sandy, barren soil is phylloxera-proof and has cultivated intense, red plum and dark black fruit, smoky oak and leathery, cigar-like notes of age.
