Grand Chemin Duche d'Uzes 2020
Due north of Montpellier the AOC of Duche d'Uzes is part of the Rhone region, but goes under the recognition of the vast Pay d'Oc IGP. The sun drenched days and cool nights here create an optimum climate for viticulture and for the last 300 the Floutier family has run Domaine Grand Chemin, making wines that sing of terroir and tradition.
The Duche d'Uzes cuvee is a blend of prominently syrah and grenache, fermented in concrete tank for six months, it is bursting with freshness and textures. Crunchy red fruits wrapped around vibrant tannins with a rustic spice of cracked green peppercorns on the finish. Pick any lamb dish you like to go with this bistro classic.
