Nestled on the limestone-rich Vinsobres plateau in the northern part of the Southern Rhone, Clos Bellane produces wines of impressive finesse. Since 2010, Stephane Vedeau has encouraged a balance between sustainable, organic practices and innovative, creative winemaking, resulting in wines that are not too rustic yet not over-manipulated. One might say that, here at Clos Bellane, the wines are the most elegant versions of their natural selves. La Petite Bellane was the first cuvee of this estate. Earthy berries, together with dry but well-integrated tannins, make this young Syrah all too easy-drinking.
