Destinos Cruzados Pousada 2018 Spain
It is unusual for whites from Rias Baixas to include varieties other than Albarino but here it makes perfect sense: Condado do Tea sits right alongside the DO Ribeiro where Treixadura dominates. Slightly more golden in colour than most whites from
the region, this offers plenty of classic stone fruit and citrus character but combined with attractive herbal notes, bay leaf and hints of balsamic. The key here is texture, slightly waxy, rich and full bodied for a wine of this style. A blend of 75% Albarino and 25% Treixadura aged in oak foudre and concrete eggs for 4 months.
