The nose of this delightful Galician red from trendy Condado do Tea offers red cherries and floral notes, with a touch of white pepper, truffle and orange peel. Slightly herbal and spicy on the palate but with lovely freshness and intensity, and real juiciness too. Very refined, with well managed tannins, this represents the best of the new wave of Atlantic reds. It is made with 55% Mencia, 35% Brancellao, 10% Espadeiro with 60% whole bunches used in the fermentation and ageing in old barrels for 12 months. A miniscule production of some 4000 bottles per year.
