Domaine des Genaudieres
Near the small town of Cellier on the north bank of the Loire, Domaine des Génaudières commands striking views of the river as it winds towards Nantes. Planted on the metamorphic schist and gneiss slopes of the Armorican massif, the soil is shallow and exceptionally rocky, forcing the vines to work hard and marking the wines with their mineral character. The south-south-west exposure of the vines allows for good ripening and keeps them naturally healthy, protected from excess moisture and humidity.
