Chateau Brane-Cantenac 2011 Margaux

Second growth Brane Cantenac has risen in recent years to the very top tier of Margaux, producing exceptionally fine, pure, gracefully structured wines. Cabernet leads here, but there is typical Margaux perfume and refinement, alongside dark fruit, tobacco and graphite minerality. Still good value, this is every bit the super second and very satisfying indeed.
