Domaine Thillardon Chenas Chassignol 2019 Beaujolais
Brothers Paul Henri and Charles Thillardon are lucky to own land in Chassignol, the grand cru of Chenas, maybe even one of the grand cru of all Beaujolais, on the same level of quality and distinction as Cote de Py. This vineyard, just behind their house, is ploughed by horse and produces stunning wine that must be tasted to be believed. This is deep, concentrated and rich, but simultaneously light, zesty and mildly balsamic with a hint of pressed flowers and wild strawberry. Get it while you still can.
