Ziereisen Heugumber Gutedel 2020 Baden

A fantastic introduction to the tireless and excellent work of Hanspeter and Edel Ziereisen, tending Gutedel AKA Chasselas vines that overlook the city of Basel just over the border in Switzerland. Broad and rich, full of yellow apple, nuttiness, waxy texture and stony hints, and all with a scarcely believable 10.5 percent ABV, since they do not think chaptalising is required. Is this the best value white wine in the shop? We think so! Go Swiss and enjoy this with Fondue or Raclette.
