Vignoble de la Jarnoterie Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil Cuvee Improvisation 2020

From the same plot of old vines as Concerto, Improvisation is a nod to the great Cabernet Francs of St Emilion and Pomerol. Aged in a proportion of new oak it is a richer, more sumptuous wine than Concerto but still consumately elegant. Velvetty caressing tannins and violetty perfume give lift to this wine that retains beautiful energy and shows the potential of Loire Cabernet to rival its famous cousins in Bordeaux.
