Quercia al Poggio Chianti Classico 2021 Tuscany

Simply charming Chianti Classico from an ancient estate nestled in olive groves between Florence and Sienna, where a great diversity of limestone, calcareous and clay soils produce supremely balanced and distinct Sangiovese. This is blended with local grapes, notably Canaiolo which is known for its incense scent, and aged in old French oak barrels. This results in a spicy, earthy wine with lots attractive red fruit character and dusty oregano herbal tones, making it a perfect accompaniment for red meat and robust pasta dishes.
