Ariousios Natural Chiotiko 2016 Chios

Made entirely from the very local Chiotiko grape, which was brought back from the brink of extinction 20 years ago by a group of passionate Chian winemakers. This gives intense flavours of dried rose petals, red fruits, sweet spice, and a touch of cured meats. Its grippy tannins are balanced out with a fresh acidity. Delicious.
