The renaissance in Muscadet continues, and this appellation produces some of France's best value light whites. This is crisply appley with a waft of sea breeze and a delicate savoury note on the finish from lees ageing. It is perfect with the seafood and shellfish of the Atlantic coast, but, to be honest, we like it just as much as a light, fresh, and genial apertif that has a stalwart place in the fridge door.
