Westwell Wicken Foy NV, Kent

This is fabulously quintessential English Sparkling, made from the traditional Champagne grape varieties, from vines planted on the limestone ridge in Kent. Aged for 18 months on the lees, this wine reminds me of red apple skins and toasted almonds, with a refreshingly tangy and sherbetty finish. An exquisite wine, and at an incredible price!
