Castello Romitorio Brunello di Montalcino 2017

The flagship wine from Castello Romitorio, this Brunello Di Montalcino is made from Sangiovese grown at high altitudes and then matured in oak for around 24 months. With initial aromas of oak, cherry, violet and pomegranate, this wine only gets better with age, developing notes of sage and soy, and eventually, tertiary notes of leather from bottle aging.
