Chateau Beaumont 2016 Haut Medoc
A cracking cru borrgeois from the team behind Saint Julien 4th growth Chateau Beychevelle. Made from grapes grown in the Haut Medoc from a 113ha site that sits between Saint Julien and Margeaux.
An almost a 50/50 split of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a splash of petit Verdot gives lots of juicy black cherry and damsen fruit with some sweet spices from 30% new oak maturation.
A classic claret that is essential pairing with a classic sunday roast beef - delicious.
