Mourgues du Gres Cuvee 46 Costieres de Nimes 2019 Languedoc

Lost amidst the Garrigue in the hills outside Nimes, this ancient convent is now lovingly run by Anne and Francois Collard who cut his teeth at Lafite. Run biodynamically, this cuvee is a blend of old vine Cinsault and Grenache and retains a lovely purity, silky texture and a lilting hint of lavender alongside the heady dark cherry so typical of these warm southern wines. Perfect for bold Mediterranean flavours.
