Cascina Luli Umberta Vino Rosso Barbera 2023 Piedmont
In the Cerrina Monferrato region, just east of Turin, local winemaker Fabrizio Luli is making wines using traditional Piedmontese Methods. This Umberto Barbera was fermented in cement tanks and then aged in them for 11 months before a final 3 months in bottle before release. the result is a fresh and energetic wine full of dark fruits with bitter leaves with hints of liquorish and spice, overlaid on supple tannin! - Great stuff
