The Elder Pinot Noir 2019 Martinborough

Nigel Elder served his apprenticeship in Burgundy with the likes of Dujac before planting his vineyard in Martinborough in 1998. Organically farmed and fermented spontaneously, the inspiration here is distinctly classical with less extraction giving elegant, but distinctly hedonistic Pinot Noir. Rich and velvet textured, the bottle age gives this a savoury edge that makes it very moreish and digeste. A must try for the Burgundy lover.
