Signatory Linkwood UCF 2012 Speyside 46%

Always the bridesmaid and never the bride - like many top distilleries, Linkwood is in much demand among blenders, so we're glad some has been bottled as a single malt. This is polished and sophisticated. No creosotey peat for Linkwood; this is all about red berries, plums, apricots and some sticky toffee caramel. The palate finishes off with dark fruits, cocoa, buttery shortbread, and some waxy orange peel.
