Amrut was established in 1948 and is still owned by the Jagdale family. They were the first Indian distillery to release single malt and due to its location, Amrut enjoys an accelerated maturation of its whiskies (3-4 times that of Scotland). Fusion is a barnstormer of a whisky, bottled at a hefty 50% and packed full of flavour. A great bottle to try if you love traditional peated sherry casks styles from Scotland, this is great value and comes highly recommended. The distillery takes its name from the elixir of life in Indian mythology Ñ ÔAmrutÕ. Unchillfiltered and natural colour.
