Torabhaig Allt Gleann Single Malt Whisky 46% Skye Scotland

A new distillery, established in 2017 in the village of Teangue in southern Skye, Torabhaig is only the second distillery on the island after the mighty Talisker. The site was originally an old farmstead which has been converted to house this compact distillery which, despite its novelty, has started out with wooden washbacks and some heavily peated malt in a clear statement that Torabhaig aims for a robust, island-style malt aged in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at a respectable 46%.
