Quinta Da Fata Touriga Nacional 2017 Dao

A relatively small, yet beautiful estate of 6.5 hectares, Quinta da Fata plants traditional varieties on its south-facing granitic slopes. Despite some restructuring and modernisation in 1999, the old granite lagares were preserved and are still used today for crushing the grapes by foot, and for fermentation. This Touriga Nacional is intense and concentrated, with baking spices and stewed plums, balanced with a fresh lift at the end.
