Villota Selvanevada Tinto 2022 Rioja

Grown on the calcerous soils of the high altitude Rioja Alavesa, this is new wave rich Tempranillo. This sees some French oak but less influence than the typical cuvees laden with cooking spices. It's full of ripe dark cherry and blackberry, as well as some dried herbs adding freshness. Dusty tannins makes this great for food.
