Agricola la Portera Tardano Garnacha 2022 Carinena Aragon Spain

This is a delicate wine made from old bush vines perched at 650 metres in the coolest vineyards of Carinena. Jorge, the winemaker, states that ÙGarnacha here is fresher rather than riper, with a floral, spicy character very far from jamminessÎ and we quite agree. This is ethereal, strawberry-forward Garnacha at its best, with a gorgeous helping of vermouth-like dried herbs and florals that keep you coming back for another glass.
