Doorly's 14 Year Old Rum 48% Barbados

Ostensibly the same blend as Doorly's 12 Year Old, this spends a little longer in cask, shows more overt madeira cask influence, and is bottled at 48%. Pretty much in every way an upgrade from the 12 Year Old, which is sensational and was our favourite rum in the Doorly's range - until we tasted this! Terrific stuff, with caramelised sugars, dark chocolate, flamed orange and a beautiful note of fine butter fudge on the palate. If you liked the 12, you're going to love the 14.
