Castuo Finca Lumbrarillo 2023 Extremadura

From old vines near the Portuguese border, the local red Morisca has here been vinified as a white wine and aged in amphora with minimal intervention. The result is an intriguing, textural wine with russet apple and a moreish bitter, herbal note that works brilliantly with salty cheeses and simple stews.
