Iberieli Zurab Topuridze Cecilia Amber 2022 Kakheti

In Kakheti in eastern Georgia, Zurab Topuridze organically tends to local varieties, including the white grapes of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane which are found in this bottle. In the winery, traditional practises are employed, including the use of clay qvevri pots. As for the name of the winery, it was Zurab's children who decided on Iberieli as a nod to some of Georgia's ancestors who were making wine more than a thousand years ago ... This wine, named after Zurab's daughter, Cecilia, has delicate aromas of apples and gingerbread intertwined with honeysuckle, smoky citrus fruit, and fresh forest; and, on the palate, expect a delicious, baking spice finish.
