Barone di Villagrande Etna Rosso 2023 Sicily

East of Mt Etna sits this iconic producer. The Nicolosi family have been farming the plot since the 1600's, and more recently were pivotal to Etna becoming Sicily's first DOC in 1968. Nerello Mascalese with a little Nerello Cappucio, it is a freshness driven red, boasting volcanic minerality, cut with red cherry with a hint of black pepper and liquorice.
