Ludovic Izerable is one of the top winemakers in Cornas, perhaps the best value of the northern Rhone's fine wine communes. Made in a traditional style without new oak, this is rich yet mineral, where expansive black fruit encounters muscular tannins, spice and roasted meats. Always great, this is nonetheless particularly magnificent in this celebrated vintage.
