Akashi Tai Junmai Daiginjo Genshu Sake 300ml Japan
The Akashi Tai Sake Brewery, named after sea bream caught near the port city of Akashi in south-west Japan, was founded in 1917 and has been producing superb sake in a range of styles ever since.
Each Sake is hand-crafted in small batches using rice grown in the local Hyogo province.
Daiginjo Genshu is one of Akashi-TaiÕs most iconic sakes, with only 38% of the rice grain remaining after milling. Combining the sweetness of the grand cru Yamadanishiki rice grain with one of the most uniquely full flavour palettes of their sake offering, it balances greater strength with a robust and fruity finish.
An elegant aroma with subtle notes of honey and white spring flowers. This Daiginjo offers a fruity and floral palate with delicate aromas of pear, as well as notes of aniseed to accompany a dry finish.
Serve between 6C and 13C to enjoy the full aromas and flavours.
